Roslan’s Performance Motorsports is owned and operated by Danny Roslan. Danny has over 30 years experience working as a machinist and high performance engine architect.
He began his career in the 80’s working for Air Flow Research in Van Nuys, California. There he worked directly under the owner, Ken Sperling, in the Cylinder Heads and Intake Manifolds Research and Development department, mastering the art of mass air flow. After several years of service, he accepted a position with Childs & Albert working in the rod and piston division, as well as, managing phone sales. He moved on to work for Joe Mondello of Mondello Performance Products, also in Van Nuys, California.
It was at Mondello’s that he perfected the art of porting and polishing, and received highly specialized training in Oldsmobile engines. He worked for Joe for 18 years, even relocating to the Central Coast with the company in 1993. After Joe sold the business, Danny went on to open his own shop in Atascadero in August of 1999. It was at this time Danny was able to broaden his horizons once again by building engines of all types including Chevys, Ford, Cadillac Northstar engines, Toyotas, Buicks, Oldsmobiles of course, and even a few agricultural engines. Danny operated his shop in Atascadero until 2009, when his second son was born. Wanting to be closer to home, Danny moved the shop to Paso Robles and currently operates out of a bigger and better shop than before.
When Danny is not building engines, machining engine parts or fabricating drivelines, he likes to spend his free time working on his race car. Danny was fortunate enough to find a wife that came with a 1969 Chevy Nova, and has taken great pride in building the Nova to run 9.40s with a 420 cubic inch small block motor on a 10.5 inch tire. Danny also enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years and three children ranging in ages from 28 to 13 years old; Daniel, Everett and Ella.
